Our competition team is for the more serious student, who has an interest in pursuing a career in the arts or performing at a competitive level.
Triple Threat's first competition team was composed of 4 very dedicated and talented dancers who performed 8 routines including solos, duets, a trio and 2 group numbers. They received special judges awards in choreography, performance as well as 1st and 2nd place overall scores in their age categories and scholarship invites to NY.
In the competition world, you are exposed to other talented dancers and singers. You will build self esteem, learn showmanship and how to deal with differences of opinions.
Team participants are required to take 4 plus hours a week of training in: ballet, stretch/strength, jazz or contemporary and musical theater.
Impact Competition Team are expected to exhibit showmanship, respect for other competitors and be at their best as they support their team. All participants are expected to arrive at their given call time, warm up and wear required costume with proper make-up and accessories. Company uniforms are to be worn to every competition as you represent team spirit.
The experience as a team participant is rewarding, motivating and most of all a fun experience for all students who participate. I look forward to building a bigger and better team each year!
